Chiappa Mare’s Leg Carbine

As new Chiappa Mare’s Leg Carbine in .357 magnum. I purchased this new, tested a few hand loads and was impressed with the velocity gains over handgun length barrels. I was getting 1780fps average with my 158 grain loads and my 185 grain hard cast gas checked loads were running 1590 fps with really good penetration. This would be a handy little deer rifle or backpack bear protection with the heavier cast bullets. I know I could push the velocity higher with better powders and jacketed bullets but I was limited by what I had on hand. 
   This little rifle comes with a decent red-dot, as well as standard sights. It has however, been a safe queen and I’m just not getting around to using it. I will consider a trade for a decent bolt action .223 and can add cash for the right trade.  *Bipod not included.
