Grand in 308 has Italian made NOS NATO spec barrel

  My first Garand has a SIAU  MP marked barrel, searching the name showing Italian origin, should be subcontractor for Beretta. 

MP stands for Magnafluxed and Proofed. Appears to be chrome lined.

Many years after I sold that Garand,  I rediscovered the itch for the only Canada legal“eight big bangs” and naturally preferred a mil-spec barrel. Then finally found this one. 

Just like the one I had, beautiful wood, shiny bore, SIAU 1967 MP marked barrel. 

Regrettably I never got chance to shoot this one. What can I say, the rifle spits .30 calibre slugs like ammo are paid by Uncle Sam.

Overall excellent condition.
