Bought this rifle a few years ago from a fella who told me it had a sticky bolt. He tried a few cleanings and replaced the extractor with no luck. I thought I might be able to fix it up, but I've cleaned and polished the chamber a few times, cleaned and polished some parts in the bolt, and even tried the bolt from my other Mosin with no changes. It can be opened by hand but it requires some effort. The chamber appears to be slightly "wavy" and I noticed the cases seem to have a small bulge in one spot and the extractor was tearing up the rim. Maybe a quick ream of the chamber would fix it? I saved 5 fired cases to go with the rifle for the buyer to inspect.
Besides that it's your Typical BBQ paint refurb. Small crack on sight end of the handguard. Rifle is all matching minus mag floor plate which is force matched. Shellac is flaking on the wood. Barrel is counter-bored around 1 1/4" but crown is good and rifling is darkish with light pitting but pretty decent. Shoots pretty good accuracy wise just the bolt sticking is a major pain and I'm tired of messing with it. Any more questions feel free to ask!
