Got it from a fellow who claimed it shot fine, turns out we have different definitions of shooting fine.......I had issues with the bolt sticking after firing. Had to smack the bolt like I wish someone would smack Trudeau to get it open. So I took it to the local gunsmith and I was informed the chamber is toast, and that the rifling is there but quite worn with lots of pitting. Since he didn't have any tools for working on the M-10, he said it wouldn't be worth it to buy all the hardware to correctly work on it. I was going to try and find a barrelled receiver to swap in, but I've since found another rifle.

Rifle is complete minus the rear sling swivel, and NONE of the parts are DP marked, but the stock is 100% from a DP rifle but features some very nice and clear cartouches. Everything else works as it should. Bolt cycles freely while dry firing or using snap caps, bolt is unpinned and has been disassembled and cleaned. Front sight hood looks like a repro. Stock has a few repairs and the cut-outs from the chamber being drilled on the original rifle have been pretty nicely filled, but will require some final sanding to have them perfectly level with the rest of the stock. Handguard is full of cracks but has large staples from and arsenal repair. I have a very nice handguard I could include for an additional $90. Would made a great parts rifle if you had a sporter to drop into the stock.
