Berthier M16 carbine

1894 st. Éntienne production according to serial range (m1892). Has a Châutellerault receiver. Later converted to m16 pattern most likely post ww1. Rebarreled in 1939 by Châutellerault. Barrel is in great shape, strong rifling, shiny bore and minimal muzzle wear. Only downside is a crack at the tang. Would fix before attempting to shoot. Has seen a lot of action in its day as seen by pics. Bolt does not match as is the case with most french rifles. $875 shipping on buyer. Price is firm.
