Rifle is all original except has a Kick Eez “quick mount” recoil pad added, 14-1/2” to front trigger. Front bead sight replaced with easier to see flat faced brass blade. Original sight included.
It’s fired about 500 shots. Wood and metal finish & bore very good, 95-98% condition.
I sent it to J.J. Perodeau in the USA https://jjperodeau.com/services/ and had it re-regulated for Hornady ammunition, which is the most commonly available brand. I also had JJ install the recoil pad and tune the triggers to crisp 3.5-4 lb pulls. About $2200 in custom gunsmith work.
This model in .450-400 3” caliber is special order and would require two years to buy new. It’s an expensive rifle but I’ve taken most of the risk out of buying a double by ensuring its barrels are well regulated with currently available ammunition. And I have a private shooting range - if you’re within travel distance to central Sask, you could try shooting it before you commit to buying.
$9000 for rifle and mounts shipped to most places in the original factory hard plastic case. Additional $ for the ammo and components and dies, ( negotiable) and perhaps the scope. Preference will be given to the buyer who offers the most reasonable amount for the whole works. I’d prefer a Canadian sale, but export of this high value and rather rare rifle is an option.
