Franz Sodia (Ferlach, Austria) Drilling 12/12 over 5.6×52mmR (22 Savage hp) beautifully engraved. Made in 1950
Has been hunted with but still presents well.
Original scope was lost long before I purchased the firearm. I have found a period correct German scope that is almost a perfect match for the original European mounts, a small amount of fitting by a competent gunsmith is all that is needed.
The gun also has pop up iron sights and functions as it should. It swings like a dream.
There is a small grain crack in the righthand side of the stock and a couple small cracks just behind the receiver, but don't seem to be loose. Barrels are stamped Bohler steel, and are shiny and have 80% of the original blue. More pictures can be sent if seriously interested. I have a few 22hp which I will include.
I will consider separately selling the scope and gun if the purchaser doesn't want it.
