- Receiver has the earlier Weimar Republic eagle markings.
- Stamped serial numbers matching on the receiver, bolt body, trigger group and magazine plate. The only electro-stencil matched serial numbers are on the safety knob and the cocking piece.
- Reproduction early walnut stock set fitted to the receiver;
- Correct earlier Kar98k stock hardware (earlier flat buttplate with screws, rear stock band, stock band retainer spring, front stock band and bayonet lug) was cleaned up, re-blued and installed on the stock; and
- Reproduction early 10” cleaning rod and threaded rod retainer nut were fitted and installed in the stock.
The blueing and condition of this rifle are very good for its age. Bore rifling is strong and bright. The action functions smoothly. Perhaps the cleanest looking Kar98k you will come across.
