Browning Semi Automatic 22 FN Take Down Rifle For Parts

Browning SA-22 semi-automatic long rifle, used, for parts.  Made in Belgium, Fabrique Nationale on barrel.  

The condition is as it was when originally purchased for parts.

Does not include rear sight.

The top of the receiver has a hole drilled through it.  

The tubular magazine outer has a broken end.

The stock is broken on the top.  It was taped and wrapped with wire but has now been cleaned. There is also wear on the lower portion of the stock were it joins with the receiver.

The serial number on the receiver end matches the SN on the inside butt plate.  Do not know year of manufacture, however, based on a post on the Browning web site the rifle would have been made before 1956 as there are no letters in the SN.  This rifles 6 digit SN begins with 151.  Read elsewhere that there may have been 200,000 of these rifles made in Belgium with sequential SN.

Tubular magazine, top loading, bottom ejection.  Believe capacity is 8, based on seeing an older top loading manual.  Crossbolt safety.  

Take down design, can be made into two pieces by pushing the barrel lock, retracting the breech block and rotating the barrel.  Any looseness detected in the halves of the rifle can be tightened using the adjustment ring. 

Preference is to sell all parts together, in person, to someone in the area or coming to Thunder Bay with PAL.  Will consider COD of all parts to buyer with PAL with buyer covering shipping or postage.  May consider COD of specific parts with buyer covering shipping or postage.
