Have here my nicely rigged Custom Winchester Model 70 in 7mm08.
Very heavy. 1 inch profile barrel. Nice custom crown. Built in adjustable cheek riser. Single feed. Action runs smooth. This setup is a long distance tack driver that won't break the budget or the shoulder after a day out.
Mounted optic is a Sightron (do your research-very high quality Japanese glass) 8-32 power. Original box included with paperwork for scope.
Scope alone was $1400 bucks pre- pandemic.
I set this up hoping to get back into the long range game. Just can't find the time to get out enuff for it anymore with a young family.
Reluctantly letting it go.
