This is one of about 3000 of the early model of the Remington Model 30 made in 1920-26. A rare survivor. Lyman 48 backsight was a factory option. All the correct and typical markings. The bore would be excellent but for some light frosting or pitting from corrosive ammo in the past. A higher than stock comb was added to the butt long ago, it puts your eye right in line with the aperture so I can see why it was done. Needs only to be shot and appreciated.
Too rare to value easily so I'll consider reasonable offers.
