Up for sale is a restored Marlin Ballard No. 3 Gallery gun in 22 Long. The rifle is in very good condition overall with a case colour hardened receiver, matching crescent buttplate & finger lever. The barrel appears to be sleeved with a period correct 1:21 twist bore, I do not know is this is original or done sometime in the past but the bore is shiny. The furniture is in very good condition with a schnabel forearm.
The sale includes an aftermarket tang sight, front globe sight, dovetail blank and the barrel sights that came with the rifle when I bought it. There are two small blemishes, one on the butt and one on the barrel (see photos).
I bought this rifle intending to use it for .22 BPCR shoots but the twist is too slow to shoot .22 LR so it goes.
