The original magnum rifle and round. This rifle must have been carried for years in the bush, but rarely fired as the rifling shows hardly any wear. However she must have been neglected at one point as there is uniform pitting throughout. Probably the result of corrosive primers and not cleaning with hot water after firing. A Lyman 48 sight was added and the express sight removed from the barrel long ago. There's a patch in the stock as shown. Comes with 30 rounds of Kynoch 160gr. softpoint in the original boxes, but shipping may be problematic so we'll have to discuss how to handle that. I've never fired the rifle, but wouldn't hesitate to do so. This model reportedly did not have the blowback problems of the M10 .280 as apparently the bolt could not be misassembled. I'd considered refinishing and restocking it, would be an option for the buyer.
(Obviously the calibre is not .280 Rem as stated in the details, but .280 Ross is not in the list of options.)
