Break action single shot Savage 219 in 30-30 Winchester. The buttock was repaired at some point in its history, but it seems to have been done well and is solid with no movement. Has a metal forend spacer and is built to the historical quality before the "plastic on guns" erra.
The bore is great in this rifle and it shoots really well. It has semi-buckhorn sights with a really nice small brass bead. I was shocked how well this rifle shoots. The one time I had it at the range, I was shooting 1 inch groups at 60 yards with cheap Federal PowerShot. It shoots better than I do with open sights.
It has a 26 inch barrel with a modest overall length of 42 inches due to its break action. It weighs in under 6.5lbs and has a 14 inch length of pull, making it a really comfortable rifle to shoulder.
