German Kar98a 8mm Mauser w/ Butcher Bayonet

Selling/trading a German Kar98a in 8mm Mauser. Overall it's in nice shape. Erfurt 1917 mark on the receiver. Bolt and floor plate match. From what I'm told this rifle was professionally restored. The wood is in beautiful shape throughout with only light blemishes to note here or there. The steel appears to have been blasted and recoated in the correct dull grey finish. Light pits and marks are still present on many parts of the steel, but it's in clean shape overall. Bore shows pits throughout but still has good distinct rifling still present. Comes with its original iron sights as well as a Simson and Co. Suhl butcher bayonet. Overall a very nice setup. Looking for $1895 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. open to all trades.
