Selling/trading a Marlin Model 1893 in .38-55. Overall it's in good shape for its age. 24" round barrel with express sights and full length mag tube. Steel has turned to a dark patina but is relatively clean throughout with normal freckling and colour loss. Forestock is in nice shape with normal marks, butt stock has a good sized chip at the left side of the wrist but is still good and solid. Two set screws missing at the tang. Front flip up sight seems to be missing the middle post, rear sight is complete. Bore shows pitting but still has good lands/grooves.
This firearm came from an estate and hasn't been fired in 20+ years. It will be a final sale, sold as is, with no warranties or guarantees. It's been visually looked over and described to the best of my abilities, but by no means has been test fired or taken completely apart. It's a very old rifle that's sat a long time and that should be taken into consideration before using it. Taking this into account, it's been priced accordingly. Please fully understand this before committing to it.
