This is a 1942 SVT-40. This rifle functions excellent and was accurate for me at 200 yards. This rifle comes as complete as it did when purchased: rifle, magazine, pouch with cleaning kit and rod.

This sale includes ammunition for this rifle—1,640 rounds of Bulgarian made 7.62x54R 147gr. 'silver-tip'—consisting of two wooden crates with two metal cans in each crate, containing 440 rounds in each can. One crate is still sealed; one can has been opened and 120 rounds were used with a 100% success rate. This ammunition has been well stored and is free of moisture.

Note: I do not need to sell this rifle, I will probably regret doing so if I do, but I have no plans to use it. These rifles will always be available from somewhere, but this ammunition is hard to find; I consider it valuable because of its age, perfect functioning condition, and rarity. If you know of recent or current offerings of this rifle and/or ammunition being sold for less, share them. Until then, the price is the price.
