Tokarev SVT-40 with 1,640 Russian Surplus 7.62x54r 'silver tip' 147gr rounds

This is a 1942 SVT-40. This rifle functions excellent and was accurate for me at 200 yards, with no misfires or jams with 120 rounds. This rifle comes as complete as it did when purchased: rifle, magazine, pouch with cleaning kit and rod.

This sale includes ammunition for this rifle—1,640 rounds of Russian surplus 7.62x54R 147gr. 'silver-tip'—consisting of two wooden crates with two metal cans in each crate, containing 440 rounds in each can. One crate is still sealed; one can has been opened and 120 rounds were used with a 100% success rate. This ammunition has been well stored and is free of moisture.

I don't need to sell this rifle and I will probably regret doing so if I do, but I have no plans to use it. These rifles will always be available from somewhere but I cannot find this ammunition anywhere in reasonably comparable amounts. I can find plenty Chinese 7.62x54, but no Russian surplus. I consider the ammunition valuable because of it's age, perfect functioning condition, and rarity. If you know of recent or current sales of this rifle and ammunition being sold for less, share them. Until then, I look at it like this: I see people getting $700 to $1200 for a similar rifle; I am satisfied with $900 for this rifle. Then I am asking $1.25 per round.
