Ankara M38 “Turkish Mauser” chambered in 8x57. In very good condition. Bore is bright. Ive enjoyed shooting it quite a bit. Sad to see it go honestly but I need to fund some other projects and purchases.
The metal has worn to a very pleasant patina. Bore is bright and measures it’s correct .323” diameter. Shoots accurate.
Bolt and receiver serial numbers aren’t matching. The cleaning rod is missing. The stock has a couple dings, nothing major. There is one crack on the right side below the action. It looks as though it’s been there quite a long time so I’m not concerned. Metal looks great under the wood
