This isn’t a converted sporter, it has military proof marks, as well as the LC (large chamber) engraving that would have been done by the field armorer, bolt has not been pinned to prevent improper reassembly. Under the stock on the side of the receiver is written 314B. I assume this is the serial number which makes this rifle part of the second batch made for the Canadian army. Intact uncut 30.5” original barrel. Bore is decent for a 112 year old gun. It’s dark but the rifling is still there. I’ve put two dozen rounds through and could hit targets at 150 yards with it.
Stock is a replica as well as the nose cap, everything else was on rifle when I purchased it. Also included is the stock that was the rifle when purchased. Minor scratch on side of the stock as shown in pictures.
Don't really want to sell it and was planning to fully restore this rifle. Unfortunately I'm too busy with other projects that also need funding.
Price is firm, no trades. Will be going to auction if not sold by March 1st 2025.
