IIthaca 37 Featherlight - 12 gauge  - got from auction and has uncommon fleur de lis design carved into stock and forend.

I have an OTHER very similar gun, odd and wonderful, in 12 gauge (oldest style - serial on barrel) Ithaca 37, with the “U.S.” stamp on receiver and heatshield. Heatshield is vintage (with bayonet lug) something which Ithaca did to fulfill government contracts consistently.

Also - I just got a non-featherlight version of the Model 37 from Ithaca from auction. Great shape given its age. If you’re interested let me know.

Google it for yourself - that’s what heat shields look like on these early version Ithaca 37’s.

Back to the Ithaca on sale in this ad, the date according to Ithaca is mid 1950s to late, especially given the placement of the serial.

I also have a 14 day return policy - as long as it comes back in same condition, no questions asked - full refund with $40 held back to cover time spent.

I’ve cleaned and lightly oiled (with rust protection the receiver with “G-96 complete gun treatment”).

Original buttpad and rare and fantastic “Ithaca” cap on bottom of stock handle. Works very well given its approx 70 years old, and while you wouldn’t make it your main hunting gun - it’s a beautiful collector that you can reliably bring on a hunt.

As collectors know, the Ithaca model 37 is consistently one of the top 10 of the greatest pump shotguns of the last 100 years (multiple lists - check for yourself).

Bore is excellent, wear and marks associated with age but no cracks in stock/receiver/forend - superficial marks only as you can see in pics. 25.5 inch barrel.

in person sales only, and after RCMP mandatory check for PAL.  Bay and Yonge area (waterfront) in Toronto
