An absolute classic of engineering that still locks up tight considering she’s past her 100th birthday. This beauty of an “Elsie” - particularly for a rare 20 gauge. An early LC Smith that helped define the American side by side - but in the English sidelock style.
Manufactured in 1921 by Hunter Arms. Bluing has faded to grey/patina in most areas of the barrels. Partial case colouring remaining on the receiver in protected areas but nickel shining through in most places.
