Here is an old Stevens single shot 12 gauge complete and functional
it has 30 inch barrel chamber for 2 3/4 with a full choke
There is some pitting on the receiver and the barrel has been painted black
the stock has been glue and varnished
overall it is ugly but will work and shoot !
that could be a good gun to leave at the camp!
