Iver Johnson Hercules Grade 16g Double barrel for sale. Manufactured in Canada roughly 1920-1940. Not sure on the exact year just that it has a 4 digit serial number with no Letters. Which leads me to believe it is one of the earlier models. Would make a great addition to a Canadian Firearms History Collection. No issues in my time with it. Both triggers and safety work.
The stats as I know them are
- 16g 28” barrels
- 2 triggers, if I recall right the front is the left barrel.
- left barrel Full choke, right barrel Medium choke.
- 4 number (no letter) serial stamped on action below right barrel.
- manufactured in Cobourg Ontario by Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works.
- minor scratch’s on barrel and wood, but nothing un expected for such an old shotgun.
Open to negotiations on price as it is hard to find consistent info for these online. Some are selling for $1500-$2500 usd online. So really not sure on the actual price and am open to fair offers. Can provide more photos if needed. Shipping also up for debate depending on distance needed to ship. PAL verification mandatory. Local hand off preferred. NO TRADES. Selling as funds are tight and I do not use it very often after getting really into bolt guns.
