TRENCH GUN (replica) - Stevens 820B ***REDUCED...$899***

The Stevens trench guns (WW2) used models 620 and 520-30 which were predecessors to the model 820B.

This particular gun was completely refurbished. The previous owner left the gun in a soft case for many years with surface rust developing on the outside of the gun (internals were fine). There are a few spots where pitting has occurred, mainly on the receiver and the exposed area of the bolt. Therefore, I ran the entire firearm through a "conservation" where all the metal was steamed in order to convert the rust into black oxide (bluing). This is noticeable on the bolt where there are now black specks where there once was rust. The entire firearm is now rust free and the decay has been stopped. There are some scratches on the receiver from the previous owner trying to remove the rust (see photo). The wood furniture is decent, the plastic butt pad has been cracked and repaired. I can fabricate a steel butt pad (nut crusher) if you prefer - for an additional fee. Overall, this makes an interesting SHTF firearm. I just shot 10 rounds of 00 buck, functions with no problems. Mag holds 5 rounds + 1 in the chamber. Slam fires.  Comes with original M1 sling (that's what I've been told), and the buckles do have some rust on them. The bayonet is NOT INCLUDED! I am waiting for a repo blade I've ordered since Feb, don't know when (if) I'll ever get it - we can talk if you're interested. The barrel lug and heat shield are hand-crafted and rust-blued.
