Selling/trading a Bannerman Remington Rolling Block 20 gauge. Overall it's in nice shape. From what I understand this rifle started out as a Rolling Block in .50-70. It was turned into a 20 gauge by Bannerman Company in the early 1900's. 30" barrel. Steel is all in nice shape. Action appears to be in original condition and is starting to show some light patina. The barrel was reblued at some point and took on more of a purple/blue colour. I was told the stocks are homemade but were done pretty well and have minimal imperfections. Butt has a Kick-Eez pad on it. Bore shows some pitting. Action is nice and tight, holds half cock well. The previous owner mentioned it was fired with modern loads however I would suggest having a gunsmith go over it prior to using it given its age. Looking for $450 shipped.
