Grade 1 Remington Model 1889 in 12ga (and if not unaltered from factory, should have a 2 5/8” chamber) double barrel, external hammer, side by side shotgun having 32” barrels, with extractors, and all numbers are matching. Plastic buttplate has RACo logo. Barrel marked Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A. Serial number confirms manufacture date to be between 1900-1908. There is some case hardening still present on the receiver. However, please note: Barrel lug has seen some sort of damage which seems to hinder the fitment of the forearm (which also is missing a screw). As well, to release the barrel, it requires the top lever to be fully extended. Please view pictures. Asking $575.00 and this includes shipping to most places in Canada.
Firearms believed to be in good working order. I personally have not shot these. Being older, definitely would recommend having a qualified gunsmith look over before shooting. PAL and a second photo ID required, which will be needed to obtain a reference number from the CFP.
I will do my best to get back to inquires within a week.
