First off, I gave him many opportunities to contact me and correct things and of course he didn’t, so I’m forced to be the bad guy. He advertised four mags and included three. He advertised, “excellent condition,” it wasn’t - ie. damaged or missing bluing, badly cracked and bruised stock in multiple spots, missing parts which were advertised as included and when I pointed out the above, he all of a sudden became extremely hard to reach, despite many attempts. The item I purchased was a firearm and despite me asking him repeatedly, to make sure it was packaged properly, it wasn’t, part of which may have contributed in part, to at least some of the significant damage. I even contacted him to indicate that and that we (according to Canada Post the claim has to be initiated by him) may be able to make a claim for at least partial compensation - so nothing out of his pocket. To which he didn’t even have the courtesy to reply. At this point I’m left with an unusable, unsafe firearm that needs a new stock which isn’t cheap, if I can find one and as you can imagine, a very bad taste in my mouth. Unless rectified (I can provide an update as necessary but you do the math if you don’t see one) I highly recommend against dealing with him, based on how he has handled my transaction SO poorly.
