Also I’d like to add my rifle is in perfect condition The added spent brass was a treat as in a reloaded. Then an added bonus of some Luepold bases and rings. How good is that? VERY! Thanks Rusty
Randy is a very patient seller the entire process was easy to get through. Packaged and shipped the same day as my E transfer went through. I will look forward to dealing with him again.
Thank you for your purchase of the Lee Enfield firing pin removal key. It's very affable in dealing with you.
Your comment on my review indicated that you felt the metal tube was a bit thin and I wish to clarify that the type of metal used is tool steel which is same as the ones used for making tools or bicycles. This type of metal is quite strong and much more expensive than stainless steel. The engineering behind a circular tube is much more robust than cast metal which is what the ones sold on the market are made of. As to the thinness of the teeth, these are the best tolerances allowing the firing pin to fit into the tube and also the outside diameter to clear the inside of the bolt. This is a bit tricky because the inside of the bolt is on a declining cone shape rather than straight circular shape. So the key has to be custom made to fit properly so that it can turn inside the bolt.
So far, this metal is tested to be most suitable in terms of tensile strength and durability. As with any tool, if used with care it should last a long time.
But feel free to contact me if you have any problems with the key.
