Very easygoing, and committed to making a deal. I was very happy with the way our deal worked out, I hope he feels the same. Deal with him in confidence, I know I will.
I sold Steve a Ruger 10-22. with 2 magazines and the Ruger canvas bag for $665 - a new Burris RT-1 Red dot valued at $450 that I let him have for $240 - a new Promag magazine at 50% of the price and on top of that I offered him free shipping. On the 6 photos in my ad, it was clear that the stock was a factory Ruger stock and not a Magpull stock. I explained to him that it was a typo on my ad and that it was very clear that the stock was not a Magpull stock. I wrote him this:
(( Hi Steve.
You can be sure that I never meant to deceive you in any way. I'm honest, just look at all my reviews.
All the pictures I put on the GunPost site show that the stock is a Ruger stock. Have you seen a photo with anything other than a Ruger stock? When I put the ad on the site, I only copy/pasted the ad text from the guy who sold it to me. I hadn't noticed that the guy had mistakenly indicated that the rifle had a Magpull stock.
I think you made a great buy anyway and didn't pay much for the stuff I sold you. ...And I'd love to have a Rolls-Royce. If I see a picture of a Mazda in an ad and the ad says it's a Rolls, at $4,000 I certainly wouldn't expect to buy a Rolls-Royce costing $150,000. I would understand that there was an error in the text of the ad.
If the Ruger 10/22 was equipped with a Magpull hunter's stock, you are 66 years old guy, so I'm sure you understand that the price of the rifle I sold you would be more like $1000. and not $665. I sold you an excellent $450 Burris RT-1 red dot for $240; I sold you a Promag for the low price of $45; I didn't charge for the flash hider and the 2 extra ruger mags. The $50 shipping was on me.))
I really didn't want to cheat him. He threatened me and I had to block him for that. He gave me bad feedback and a one-star rating.
