James Dixon & Sons Sheffield Flask, ca.1850

Leather covered tin, German silver top, spring operates the charger gate/shutter freely, no binding.  Gram adjustment from 2 1/4 to 3, carefully because the index pin seems short, or the tabs are not seated properly.   Note the leather has cracked on one side of the body, and the seam has opened on the bottom of the flask.  Overall length is 8 inches, width  at 3.5 inch.   Price includes mailing.
