Hello,
Up for sale is a set of Steiner German-manufactured Military/Marine 8x30mm Binoculars. The beauty of these particular binoculars is that they are self-focusing once you independently focus the Eyepiece Diopter Lenses to suit your particular vision. These are excellent, military-grade binoculars, as evidenced by their appearance. The 8x image is crystal clear from closse range to infinity. Light-transmission is simlarly outstanding, providing extra minutes of visibility at dawn and dusk. Here is what Steiner has to say about these binoculars
"BINOCULAR FEATURES:
Floating Prism System – uses flexible silicone lens mount to absorb severe shock, impact and abuse without damage.
Sports-Auto Focus™ System – lets you focus each eyepiece to your vision once, then keeps images razor sharp from 20 yards to infinity. No more chasing focus on moving objects.
Makrolon® Housing – is durable polycarbonate with NBR Long Life rubber armoring, creating a lightweight, rugged chassis that withstands 11 Gs of impact.

New, these Binoculars sold for $350 when purchased new by me in 2007. They deployed to Afghanistan with me in 2008, but made it through that tour in excellent overall condition. What you see is exactly what you get. The front Lens Caps are long-gone, as they always got in the way of the Objective lenses. I took them off and promptly lost them! I have no manual or packaging - just the Binos in perfect working condition, and their Lanyard with the Rear Lense Cap. I am asking for $200 plus actual shipping to the buyer's location. Insruance is available at a cost of $2.75 per $100 of coverage, with the first $100 free. To fully insure these binoculars for Canada Post would cost $2.75. Insurance against loss or damage by Canada Post is the responsibility of the buyer!
No trades are desired at this time. Thanks for looking!
NOTE: The white "spots" on the lenses are actually reflections from the overhead Pot-Lights:
