Leupold VX-I 2-7x28 Rimfire Rifle Scope

Excellent little scope for when big glass would weigh you down or ruin a rifle's handling. Perfect for small, light, nimble, packable, and rimfire rifles. Just 10" long, a mere 8.2oz, with 2-7 magnification and very good optics. It's a shame these are discontinued and hard to find.

In very good condition. Optically I would rate it 9/10 with just one minuscule spec that I couldn't clean off the back lens. This is not visible when using. Cosmetically I would rate it 8/10 due to a couple of minor scuffs, neither of which affect function in any way (see photo). I can not see any noticeable ring marks. The zoom ring feels smooth with no hint of dirt under it. In fact, it's still a touch stiff, being not fully broken in from the factory yet. That's a sign of a lightly used scope. On the whole it's very clean and well cared for. I had been using this on a little CZ 452 Scout and it held its zero fine over the few years that I've owned it. I am confident that this is a quality optic, in great condition, with a long service life ahead of it; but if you run into any problems down the road, Leupold's excellent Lifetime Warranty will take care of it.

Leupold optimized this model for typical rimfire shooting distances by setting parallex at 60y, but you could easily use it on a bigger caliber rifle. It's built and tested to withstand strong recoil. I just wouldn't suggest it for a very long range setup, for obvious reasons.

Comes with the original box, but no lens covers (not sure if these ever even came with Leupold covers or not).
