According to the Royal Museums Greenwich, the firm Woolley and Deakin operated under this name between 1800 and 1803, which allows us to date this sword accurately. It is a fine example of the 1796 pattern British officer's spadroon.

An excellent example of a 1790 pattern Royal Navy officer's spadroon that dates to the era of the battle of Trafalgar and the War of 1812. Much original gilt remains on the hilt and it has a sound grip.

This is a pair of Japanese swords, 29 inches and 39 inches. The long sword is signed on the tang, and the other is unsigned. They are unresearched but came with the certificates shown in the listing.
