This is a First Year Production Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver. Widely believed to be the most aesthetically pleasing of all the Colt percussion revolvers.

This is the Manhattan Navy series 5 with a 6 shot cylinder in .36 cal, all others are 5 shot cylinders. Very good functioning action and tight lockup. Picture scenes on the cylinder are still nice and visible.

I've owned this gun for close to a decade now. Seems it's time someone can appreciate it.
