Winchester 1873, don't know much about the history of this rifle.

Was made in 1886, chambered 38-40 Winchester

Some pitting in the barrel but rifling still present (keep in mind this is a 139 years old rifle)

The nice stuff: Almost perfect blueing, timing is perfect, lock-up is solid and it shoots great.

The less nice stuff: rifling is weak and a chip at the bottom of the left grip is gone.

Probably the most compact version in .450 Webley (light load.455) with a short handle and a 2 1/2 inch barrel.

I shot it a lot. It fits well in the hand. 

Rifle completely disassembled & cleaned. Wood refinished with 25 coats of "true oil" and a meticulous wet sanding between each coat.

Replaced iron sights with optic fiber iron sights. Looks gorgeous and shoots gorgeous.

Very good condition, still packed in cosmoline, type 56 Chinese SKS made in factory 26.  made around year 1969.

Nice piece of gun with history.

With the current gun ban, seems like SKS is the safest choice.
