Nice well designed tanto from Meiji Era (1868-1912) those were made for the higher class Westerners as export purposes and were very expensive depending on the carvings and material.

These are usually decorated with Japanese themed lucky creatures such as Kirin, deer , tiger and dragon. This is a dragon themed tanto showing dragons in the clouds and has a big dragonhead on the handle and body across the scarbbard.
Material Bone and stag horn (could be ivory but I dont gurantee, could worth more if ou can judge by yourself)
Asking 899 for the tanto or 1/4 oz of gold.
