TCE Sako TRG Bipod Boots

Form-fitting boots designed to fit around the Sako TRG bipod feet. 3D-printed carbon chopped-fibre PETG filament with a matte finish. Been shooting mine for two years and the boots endure after some gradual improvements.

The TRG bipod claws are great for gripping dirt but tend to scratch the barrel during transport and punch little holes in wooden workbenches and range tables. These boots will protect your barrel, floor, and work surfaces, and their flat, rubber-padded soles will provide a better benchtop shooting experience. 

Separate models exist for the Gen 1 or Gen 2 bipod to account for the spread angle (the Gen 2 has the narrower stance and an O-ring to give some friction in the swivel hinge).

Wish I could make these boots cheaper and distribute them to every TRG owner to protect their barrels from scratches - but it's a low volume product with twelve M1.6 bolts and manually tapped holes; takes a few hours to finish a pair discounting printing time. I do think it's a worthy investment to preserve a valuable rifle with a long history.
