Ruger M77 short action target stock

Action screw spacing is 7 3/4”. 
Sorry I had written long action before. A source describes mM77 short as 7 3/4”, which matches this stock. The source claims  long should be 8 1/4”. This stock has no provision for tang safety, but some target shooters don’t use the safety. If your rifle has the tang safety you would need to inlet for that. This stock seems to have had side safety in letting but it’s been filled. Since only the mk2 had side safety I can’t understand why this stock had provision. Note that M77 MK2 is 1/4” longer for each short and long. wrist safety. 

Target stock inletted below forearm for  target rail. Side safety cut out has been filled but can easily be opened again. 
Trivial shrinkage crack across a wood knot at a right rear I will fill with transparent media. 
Very fine shrinkage crack behind rear tang I will drill beneath and epoxy fill if client wants.
