The handguard comes with a Picatinny rail that is secured firmly to the handguard(adhesive & rivets) & clears all internals when disassembly/reassembly, has also been modified to accept the heat shield tabs.

Just align the heat shield tabs with the cutouts & push down, then tighten clamp.

It clears the action bars, has heat resistant rubber spacers at the front of the heat shield to accommodate the clamp tightness.

Removal & assembly of the heat shield clamp needs to be done with the mag extension removed so no stripping of screw head or threads occur.
