Winchester model 69 stock

I have a decent used stock for a Winchester model 69 (Not 69a) .  A 69A action will fit in this stock but a little wood will have to be removed to accept the safety lever assembly.  The stock is a lot thinner than a 69a.  The stock has no original finish and has an oil finish.  The stock bolt escutcheon is there.  The mounting holes for the butt plate have been filled and the butt end painted black.  Trimming 1/8" off the the stock would get rid of the black paint.
