This is an antique Marlin No.32 Standard 1875 Second Type Pocket Revolver. This has a 3” tip up barrel with clear lettering. The 1875 has a 5 shot fluted cylinder chambered in .32 rimfire. The was offered with two different finishes this one having a nickel frame with a blued barrel and cylinder. Nearly all of the nickel is still intact with some bluing left in protected areas. The grips are in fine condition with a minimal amount of handling marks. Mechanically in very fine condition with proper timing and strong lockup. The hinges are intact and the barrel latch locks up tight with no wiggle or play. Marlin produced approximately 18000 of these revolvers from 1876 to 1887.
