Smith & Wesson New Frontier

Smith & Wesson New Frontier in 44 Russian. 
This gun is immaculate, I have never seen one this pristine.
It has 99.9% of the  nickel finish.
It has the nitro blue trigger guard and latch wit a 6" barrel.
The hammer and trigger are colour case hardened.
It has pearl grips which are aftermarket.
The mechanism works perfectly, absolutely no play in lockup and it cycles perfectly.
The bore is excellent as is everything on this gun. It is a beauty!
The gun comes with the factory letter from Smith & Wesson and the FRT report from the RCMP.
This is an amazing collector piece.

Addendum: I thought this was the original finish but another gunclub member pointed out that it might not be. I have researched it and there is a star under the grip on the frame which indicates one of two things:
One - it left the factory after being vigorously tested OR 
Two - the star could indicate that it did go back to the factory in April of 1980 and was refinished at that time.  

** After even more research I do think this gun went back to the factory in 1980. I also believe it was reworked resulting in the condition being immaculate.
It does not affect the price as this gun is immaculate.
