French 1873 Service Revolver, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1876. All serial numbers match. These French 1873's had a long service history up to and including WW2 varied usage. This revolver is chambered in 45 Auto and 455 Webley. All French 1873's in original 11mm, 45 and 455 are deemed antique status in Canada. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. This revolver functions well in single and double action. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are good. Bore and cylinder walls show some common wear/pitting. Original grips are in fair condition, left panel has a repaired crack, lanyard ring is intact. $2200 includes Free Shipping, insurance extra if desired.
