German 1883 Reichsrevolver Package, Great Accessories, Antique Status

German 1883 Reichsrevolver manufactured by VCS CGH Arms Consortium in Suhl Germany. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Chambers and fires 44 Russian which is a great easily accessible option for the original 11mm German Ordnance round. This appears to be a commercial model as it's void of military unit markings on the backstrap and has the special order non military issue checkered grips. The action on this piece functions excellent. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are great. The bore and cylinder walls rate good-very good for a vintage revolver. The original grips are in good shape with common wear, lanyard ring is intact. All serial numbers match. The holster is unique and likely the original holster to this Reichsrevolver. Military issue Reichsrevolver holsters have an internal cartridge pouch and different style flap, but being that this is a non military issued Reichsrevolver it makes sense the holster would be different. The holster is in good shape with expected wear, there's a slight tear in the leather on the belt loops. Very rare to find a commercial Reichsrevolver with original non military holster.
