Remington New Model Army in 44 Percussion, 8" barrel, 6 shot. Serial number 65XXX dates it to Civil War production period. If only this revolver could talk! It's in rough, relic, non firing condition. This revolver appears to have likely been a dug up piece or found in poor storage conditions etc. Half and full cock work. Mainspring is light but works decent, as you pull trigger you need to lightly assist hammer to drop. Cylinder doesn't advance on hammer pull, you have to manually turn cylinder. Lockup on cylinder is quite good. Cylinder pin is seized in place, the pin end is broken off. Loading lever hanger is missing. Grips are gone, likely rotted away from being in ground etc. Heavy pitting on exterior. This revolver is sold as a conversation piece/display piece in as is/relic condition. Unfortunately the actual history is lost to time to know if it was a Civil War battlefield dug up piece etc. Great old west display or revolve  to reminisce over with buddies and beers. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1125 includes Free Shipping. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
