Webley Mark 1 Service Revolver, iconic top break design military sidearm of the British empire. 4" barrel, 6 shot, chambered to accept 45ACP handloads with moon clips (2 included), 455 Webley with the use of the included spacer ring as well 45 Auto Rim can be used with no need for moon clips or spacer ring. The ability to use 3 different 45 cal brass options! The action on this piece functions great in single and double action. Timing is good, lockup is very solid and nice. Barrel to frame connection is rock solid and nice with no play, thumb release is quite stiff which takes a firm push to unlock barrel. The extractor works excellent as it should and lifts upon barrel tilt to eject brass and snaps back in place upon full barrel tilt. All serial numbers match. Original grips are in good shape and free of cracks, lanyard ring is intact. Barrel and cylinder have the desirable NP nitro proof mark showing it was pressure tested by the military at the turn of the century upon introduction of stronger powders and it's ability to handle them. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
