Brown Bess New Land 1805

British war of 1812 er Brown Bess New Land 1805 pattern musket. Smooth bore, muzzle loading flintlock which was reliable and may have seen extensive action by British forces during the war of 1812. This musket was found in a wooded area of the Niagara by a farmer. It was purchased from that family by my father in the late 70’s. extensive repairs were needed to the wood in order to bring it to this excellent condition.
