Based off the ELG marking on the gun it was made anywhere between 1847 and 1893.
Takes about a 45 caliber ball and smooth bore. I have shot this before and had 0 issues with firing.
Small cracking in the wood grip.
Would have been someone's self defense pistol back in the day.
