For trade/sale brand new unfired Savage Axis XP chambered in 308.
Purchased for the purpose of installing the action/barrel into a chassis for target shooting purposes. I am now going a different direction and no longer need this one.
Had the Desh bolt lift kit and the Glades Armoury oversized bolt handle installed and if you’re familiar with stock axis actions, you know how heavy they are. You will really appreciate these upgrades. You can work the action with 1 finger - super smooth and easy to run.
the MCARBO trigger kit was installed with the 3.5lb spring but the kit comes with 2.5lb and 1.5lb springs as well. HUGE difference to the stock trigger spring.
the EGW pic rail is just solid.
sale/trade comes with all original manufacturer documentation and manuals and the weaver optic the rifle came with.
